My name is Lucia, and I swear I am not certified to be doing this, and I am also totally ready to make this introduction as cringey and ice breaker game-y as possible ( bear with me on that sentence).
I have suggested this movie more times than I can count on my fingers and only a few people have taken me up on it, every one of them being at least a little confused, but still have enjoyed it.
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels focuses on a group of four friends and their endless efforts to redeem $500,000 lost when they get over their heads a bit in one of the biggest poker tables in England. The solution to their issue happens to be downstairs in their downstairs neighbor's full-time weed hustle.
It's a bit hard for me to not spoil half the film so to help persuade you the movie features Jason Statham and who doesn't love him. This movie actually happens to be one of the few films where he isn't the brooding badass main character, its a breath of fresh air.
Though I can't be too descriptive it's one film where I suggest not knowing much going in because it truly is a amazing in my eyes.
